'Glitz'
is an ultra refined, strikingly marked bay pinto mare of extreme quality that
Donabi UK specialise in. She had a very successful first season showing in 2006,
and has continued in the same way each year exceeding our expectations.
Now
scanned in foal for 2011 we left her at home to enjoy the summer until HOYS
on 6th October, where she came out to be 2nd
IN HER CLASS TO THE ULTIMATE CHAMPION.

We are very
proud to own such a beautiful mare.
Glitz didn't disappoint
us with her first foal born on 14th April 2011, an amazingly marked chestnut pinto
filly AND it has been tested positive for tobiano, so will produce pinto
foals every time. Glitz excelled on her first show appearance with her
baby, winning and standing CHAMPION at the Devon County Show
on 21st May. Mares as consistent as Glitz don't come along very often - we are
blessed !
Our beautiful 'Glitz', now a mature 5 year old, has
been a consistent winner for us in the show ring every year since a yearling,
and showed her form once again winning two classes and the Championship at
Crealy Show on 9th May. Following that success Glitz then went on to the Three
Counties Show in June where she qualified for HOYS for the fifth consecutive
season.
I apologise for not updating Glitz's show successes but they
have been many, including qualifying for HOYS on four successive occasions, standing
Reserve Supreme Champion UK American Miniature Horse Senior Mare to our Nehi Chinchee
May at the MHCGB Championship Show in 2008 under American judge Jim Congleton,
and successes in 2009, including HOYS qualifer at Kent County and wins at MHCGB
Spring Show, when kindly shown for me by Louise Armitage.
