We are so fortunate to have been given the chance to 'buy back' this outstandingly beautiful mare whom we originally purchased from the Birchwood Stud and showed with success as a youngster at County level with wins at Royal Cornwall.

We are exceptionally fortunate to have two such remarkable direct daughters, in Birchwood Smallprint and Birchwood Shamrock, of the legendary Little Jo of Greenmeadows, who sired such outstanding offspring, particularly mares.

SHAMROCK has it all, a spectacularly beautiful head with huge eye, excellent conformation, sound, correct action, and the typical classic Miniature Shetland type with quality and good bone.

On her first show outing since her return to us late last year, at the 2007 Wessex Group Autumn Show SHAMROCK WON Best Mare, was Miniature Shetland Champion and Reserve Supreme Overall.

At her first show of 2008 SHAMROCK WON Best Mare and was Reserve Senior Champion Miniature Shetland.

Continuing her successes in the show ring this year, her visit to Doncaster for the All Miniature Breeds Show, reaped more success

1st in the Shetland Mare or Gelding class and then on to be Miniature Shetland Champion

1st in the Broken coloured shetland 4yrs and over, then on to be Miniature Shetland Coloured Champion.
