DONABI UK UNO ???????

25th January 2010 - The first baby of the 'New Dawn' and its a Filly !

Super star Nehi Chinchee May presented me with a gorgeous, tiny black filly, almost a carbon copy of her 2008 filly Donabi UK Wishes'N' Dreams. This little girl is just as tiny as her older sister, so petite and beautiful, with the fabulous dished head inherited from her mother, and incredibly weighing in at exactly the same weight as 'Wishes and Dreams' at 8 kilos.

Donabi UK Uno Masterpiece

An outstanding 2009 homebred foal

UNO TIFFANY (Sierra Dawn Uno de Mayo ex Encores Smoky Rose Delight) our beautiful, elegant Champion sorrel pinto mare, foaled a stunning sorrel pinto colt on 9 May 2009, sired by our tiny black pinto Champion stallion UNO TOM THUMB (Sierra Dawn Uno de Mayo/Dodson Delta Blu).

This was some experimental line breeding with Sierra Dawn Uno de Mayo on the top and bottom of the foal's pedigree, and WOW has it paid off !!

This exceptionally handsome, loudly marked pinto colt has 'stallion potential' written all over him. He has unbelievably evenly marked white front legs to the knee and to the hocks on his hind legs, with his rich red sorrel/chestnut base colour in stark contrast to the white. His beautiful head with teacup muzzle is inherited from both his sire and dam, and what we are striving to breed in our foals.

As with all Donabi UK foals they are handled and 'people friendly' from birth, and this little chap is no exception - and what a wonderful time waster !!
